Foreign Publishing Research Productions of National Academy of Sciences (1995–2012)

Abstract

The dynamics of foreign publishing research productions of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1995–2012 is analyzed in changes in the parameters of total NAS publishing products. The main trend in the total output of NAS publishing products is a gradual increase of the number of monographs and articles titles. It concerns both to the totality of the publications of the Academy, and publications by sections and departments, as well as by kind of products or publishers: in this period the volume of publishing output is doubled. However, the foreign publication of books and articles up today has been not a dominant component of information policy and a special direction of the NAS research institutions activities. These materials are published at the first time.
