Abstract

The report presents the most important results of basic and applied research and scientific and technical developments of the Yu.V. Malyukin Department of Nanostructured Materials of the Institute of Scintillation Materials of the NAS of Ukraine to create new multifunctional nanostructured materials based on luminescent redox-active and scintillation nanocrystals, which are promising for use in the biomedical field and pharmacology. It is shown that nanoparticles based on oxides of rare earth elements have great potential for use in medical practice.
