The updated Charter of the Academy affirms its proactive position in the state

Abstract

On May 27 this year, the General Meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine discussed and approved a new version of the Academy's Charter. Why was it necessary to amend the main document of the highest scientific organization of the state and what innovations are regulated in it, explains the Secretary of the Commission for the preparation of a new version of the Charter of the NAS of Ukraine, Vice President of the NAS of Ukraine — Acting Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Academician Vyacheslav L. Bogdanov.
