Abstract

The article-essay, based on the author's memoirs, is devoted to the 90^th anniversary of the outstanding physicist-theorist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine Victor Gryhorovych Baryakhtar, whose results in the theory of magnetism of condensed media, superconductivity, mechanical properties of solids, nonlinear phenomena in physical systems, kinetics of solitons and other areas of theoretical physics had a significant impact on the development of world science.
