July 28, 2020 marks the 80^th anniversary of the famous Ukrainian mathematician, well-known specialist in the field of approximation theory, winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology (1994), M.O. Lavrentyev Prize of the NAS of Ukraine (2010), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (1991), Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1975), Professor (1977), Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine (2000) V.P. Motorny.
