The report presents the results of research conducted at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine in the field of biosensors. Work in this direction is focused on the study of physicochemical and biochemical processes in biomembranes and electrochemical cells, the development of theoretical and technological principles for the analytical use of enzymes for the creation of biosensors, the application of modern electrochemical methods and mathematical approaches to the study of complex biophysical systems. Various types of biosensors have been developed, which are essential for analytical practice and rapid analysis in medicine, ecology, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, etc.
