National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: results of activities for 2022 and main directions of further work

Session of the General Meeting of the NAS of Ukraine, April 27, 2023

Abstract

On April 27, 2023, a session of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held, dedicated to the results of activities of the NAS of Ukraine in 2022 and the main tasks for the next period. The session participants heard and discussed the report of the President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine A.G. Zagorodny, in which the most important results of fundamental and applied research of the Academy in a wide range of scientific knowledge fields and practical applications were presented. During the event, a solemn ceremony of awarding the V.I. Vernadsky Gold Medal of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, B.E. Paton Gold Medal of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, awards named after outstanding scientists of the NAS of Ukraine and Award for Popularization of Science of the NAS of Ukraine took place.
