Abstract

This year, the mathematical community celebrated the 100th anniversary of the famous Ukrainian scientist, a specialist in mathematical analysis, who has obtained important results in the theory of approximation of functions, author of fundamental works related to the constructive theory of functions and differential and integral equations, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (1991), laureate of the M.M. Krylov Prize of NAS of Ukraine (1991), Head of the Department of Theory of Functions of the Institute of Mathematics of NAS of Ukraine (1963–1990), Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1960), Professor, Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine (1969), Vladyslav Dzyadyk.
