The Euro-Atlantic vector of Ukraine: real prospects and dangers

Abstract

The main features of the two branches of modern civilization - Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian - are analyzed, the issues related to the Euro-Atlantic vector of Ukraine are discussed. It is stressed that today this vector is an objective historical necessity and can be constructively implemented only on the basis of an innovative, rather than a mobilization path. In this regard, the authors pay attention to the problems of humanitarian security in education and science, as well as the inadmissibility of the administrative-mobilization style in the process of Ukraine's integration into the Euro-Atlantic community.
