Research methodology and durability prediction of welded structures of critical infrastructure

Abstract

The report presents the most important scientific and practical results in the field of chemical resistance of materials and protection against corrosion, obtained at the Paton Electric Welding Institute of the NAS of Ukraine. In particular, the developed methodology for research and durability prediction of welded structures of critical infrastructure is considered. The relevance of these works is due to the need to ensure the reliable and safe operation of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure objects, which is strategically important for state security, the functioning of the economy, the development of society and increasing the population’s well-being.
