Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of research on the study of physico-chemical, technological, operational and other characteristics of various materials with the aim of creating scientific, technical and technological groundwork for the production, modernization and further development of innovative high-tech armament and military equipment. Current world trends in the field of materials science are analyzed. The priority areas of research that can contribute to the development of armament and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been determined.
