Abstract

June 20 marks the 70th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist in the field of demography, methodology of strategic analysis and economic development, national security, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology (2002), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (2003), winner of the M.I. Tugan-Baranovsky Prize of NAS of Ukraine (1996), Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Section of Social Sciences and Humanities of NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of NAS of Ukraine S.I. Pyrozhkov.
