Abstract

Georgiy Voronoi is a world-famous mathematician, one of the most prominent Ukrainian scientists. Even during his lifetime his scientific works struck contemporaries with the genius of flashes of mathematical thought. In the professional environment, he has long been recognized as one of the brightest talents in the history of mathematics at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. However, the greatest importance his scientific achievements have gained in our time in connection with the development of computer science.
