Achievements and prospects for development of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine: to the 100th years from the time of its establishment

Abstract

In the report dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the establishment of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine the results of information and research activity of the institution aimed at providing modern information needs of science, education, culture, public administration and of Ukrainian society in general are analyzed. Problems which are current obstacles in further development of Library are discussed. Prospects for building up a national scientific and informational space are outlined.
