Abstract

The report presents the results of studies carried out at the Bakul Institute of Superhard Materials of NAS of Ukraine, on the study of the thermodynamics and kinetics of synthesis and sintering of superhard materials based on diamond and cubic boron nitride, as well as on improving the technology for their production, developing physicochemical bases for the production of superhard materials with improved physical and mechanical properties, increased thermal stability and chemical inertness.
