The article analyzes how, after the full-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, Ukraine, having found itself at the epicenter of a great geopolitical game, gained real international subjectivity and became all but a key factor in changing the world order. The author emphasizes that at the current stage, in view of the NATO membership postponement, it is important for Ukraine to obtain security guarantees from the Group of Seven (G7) countries and a number of other Western partners in order to ensure its state resilience.
