Meeting on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Academician O.V. Fomin

Abstract

May 11, 2017 the Academician Fomin Botanical Garden of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv hosted a solemn celebration of the 150^th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian botanist-taxonomist, botanicogeographer, science organizer, teacher, founder and first director of the Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the UkrSSR (now the Kholodny Institute of Botany, NAS of Ukraine), director of the Kyiv Botanical Garden, the founder of the world-wide famous cryptogramic morphological taxonomic academic school, Academician O.V. Fomin.
