Abstract

October 2 marks the 85^th anniversary of the well-known Ukrainian microbiologist-geneticist, doctor, poet, member of the national liberation movement, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the Field of Science and Technology, the D.K. Zabolotnyi Prize of NAS of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine B.P. Matselyukh. The editorial office of the journal “Visnyk of NAS of Ukraine” joins the congratulations to the jubilean and publishes an excerpt from his memoirs.
