“Longevity-Cardio”: innovative approach to heart valve implantation

Abstract

The report is dedicated to important works performed at the Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery on the development and introduction of innovative devices for the treatment of acquired heart disease. The necessity of further cooperation of the Center with the institutions of NAS of Ukraine is emphasized, whose ultimate goal is to become an autonomous organization of domestic production of valve prostheses for replacement of the aortic, mitral and eventually heart valves.
