The article highlights the achievements of Ukrainian scientists in creation of supramolecular machines and supramolecular materials for different types of applications. Further development of this scientific direction in the world promises breakthroughs in technology and medicine, especially in view of the fact that the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2016 was awarded “for the design and synthesis of molecular machines” - individual molecules and their ensembles which can perform directed movements
