Abstract

On 9-13 November, 2015 the Institute for Encyclopedic Research of NAS of Ukraine in online forum format hosted the IV International Conference “Ukrainian Encyclopedic Studies”. The article analyzes the features of scientific events held in such format, the problems and challenges facing modern encyclopedic studies, stresses the need to find ways to improve the process of creating reference books and their promotion.
