Abstract

The monograph is a comprehensive study of the problems of the war in Donbass and the Crimean annexation from the standpoint of national security of Ukraine. In the book the armed aggression of Russia is considered as a stress test for global and national security and the catalyst for a reset in Ukraine's foreign policy. The positions of Ukraine are justified, the approaches of the EU and Russia to resolving the situation in Donbass within the framework of the Minsk process are highlighted, conditions of reintegration and recovery priorities for Donbass are defined. Ways of overcoming the social consequences of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine are outlined, predictions of future developments in the Donbass region and around Crimea are given, and a scenario for Ukraine’s future in the globalized world is proposed.
