The report states that with the beginning of the Russian Federation’s full-scale war against Ukraine, humanities scholars faced a new strong scientific challenge: the need to study the phenomenon of Ruscism, to give it scientific attribution, to update the methodology of totalitarianism studies. For various reasons, today the world is not yet ready to give a proper assessment of Ruscism as a global threat, therefore the main tasks of domestic humanities at this stage are providing a methodological basis for the development of global totalitarian studies, a broad presentation of Ukrainian view of Ruscism and its place in the global discourse, scientific support of the state policy on resisting the Ruscist invasion, strengthening the resilience of Ukraine project, protecting Ukrainian interests, and overcoming the destructive consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war on the mental plane.
