Abstract

Basing on the 20 years of experience in the publication of the Ukrainian abstract journal "Dzherelo", the current state of the development of national abstract resources (in particular, the abstract database "Ukrayinіka Naukova") has been considered. The prospects for the development of referencing system in the Ukrainian scientific literature in the context of building a modern information society have been delineated.
