Abstract

In a study published in June 2015 in Nature, based on large-scale DNA testing of ancient humans, scientists obtained new data on migration routes on the Eurasian continent, as a result of which the main components of the current demographic structure of Europe and Asia have formed. It was found that from the genetic point of view modern Europeans are much closer to newcomers of the early Bronze Age than to the people who lived there in the Chalcolithic.
