Housing conditions as a key aspect of quality of life in Ukraine

Abstract

Living in satisfactory housing conditions is one of the most important components of human life. Housing is essential for meeting the basic need – a roof over one’s head. But housing is not just a roof and walls, but also a place for sleep, meal, leisure, family. Housing protects people from threats of the outside world, creating an atmosphere of security, certainty, allows resisting the surrounding chaos. All these factors turn housing into a home. And, of course, the question arises: “Can people afford decent living conditions?”.
