Abstract

The monograph is devoted to the substantiation of new space-time approaches to the study of regional specificity of East and South of Ukraine, historical sources of imbalances and asymmetries in the development of these regions, the root causes of discrepancy of political orientations, mentality and historical memory of the population are analyzed. In recent years these issues have become of extreme political, economic and socio-cultural significance.
