Digital transformation of the energy industry as a key to ensuring its resilience

Abstract

The report reviews certain results of research conducted at the G.E. Pukhov Institute for Modelling in Energy Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine and aimed at solving urgent and strategically important scientific and technical tasks to increase the resilience of the functioning of Ukraine’s energy industry in general and its electric power sector in particular. The Institute has positive experience in providing scientific and technical support for programs for the restoration and development of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine based on the digitalization of the main processes of electricity generation, transportation, distribution, and supply.
