Abstract

The important for Ukraine scientific and technical problem — information for maritime safety, researching and use of natural resources in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov is considered. A national collection of maritime navigational charts (164 paper and more than 250 electronic) and the Oceanographic Atlas of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, which combines more than 780 charts, are created and implemented. They are corresponded to the level of the best world standards and are used extensively in practice maritime industry of Ukraine, scientific and educational institutions.
