Abstract

In the report were examined the questions of synthesis methods improving, of structure and properties basic patterns establishment of apatite-like nanoscale systems. The results of electronic and atomic structure investigations of nanodispersed calcium apatite were presented. The correlations between characteristics of its electronic structure, atomic structure, and properties were established. There were investigated its sorption properties and identified possible areas of its use as matrices for radioactive waste disposal. The new advanced methods of calcium apatite based coatings preparation for medical needs were developed.
