The paper presents the main provisions of the unity of science and education on the example of Department of Environmental Biotechnology and Bioenergy formation in NTUU «KPI» as the most important condition for the improving of professional training of future biotechnology engineers. The cooperation of Department with leading scientists and institutions of NAS of Ukraine is highlighted.
