Global water resources and their usage

Abstract

The main types of water are viewed, the concept «water trace» is widely explained, the planet hydroresources are assessed, the classification of countries as to water supply is given. The authors exhibit less known information about water outcomes on main kinds of products manufacturing on example of water-supplied states. They prove that provision safety, environment protection, sustainable development are impossible without water. To their mind, consuming attitude of humanity, and Ukrainians as well, to fresh water causes in nearest 10–15 years «the water hunger», which consequences could surpass the lack of food trouble.
