Ukraine's gas resources: contemporary state and development prospects

Abstract

Home fuel and energy complex degradation and dependence from imported energy sources are mainly caused by extreme decrease of deep boring and seismic survey. But poor knowledge about Ukraine’s natural energy resources roused that problem as well. The list of perspective home oil and gas deposits is given, the expediency of development is proved, the necessity of progressive foreign experience usage at industry treatment of deepbedded complexes, crystalline substructures, and the row of non-traditional sources is shown. Author believes that when concentrating efforts on long-termed step-by-step development of natural hydrocarbon resources Ukraine will be supplied by itself with hydrocarbon raw stuff and deprived of dependence on states catering for energy sources. That regenerates home fuel and energy complex as well as ensures firm economy growth.
