Biodiversity Problems on Global Processes

Abstract

The scientists of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine have been giving a due attention to biodiversity problem since the very beginning of Academy establishing. Native researchers activized the studying of higher and lower plants flora, mycoflora, fauna, bacteria which are the basis of biodiversity estimation. Later the investigations of alive organisms variability within every source (terrestial, marine, other water ecology systems and complexes) were launched. It includes the researches of diversity into species, taxons, ecosystems bounds. The file of conceptions for plant and animal world protection and for state ecology corridors and preserve fund optimum organization is grounded. The improvement of biodiversity studies caused new scientific branches formation. Their yields are extended in methodical recommendations, monographs, atlases, especially, in National Atlas of Ukraine.
