Education and Science: Evolution Time

Abstract

The author acquires membership in common-scientific discussion about primary tasks standing before the contemporary science. He exposes broadly scientific concept “epoch of changes”, analyses main criteria of its detection and concludes contemporary society to be on the turning point of two epochs; when progress should be identified with the changing in scientists’ consciousness, their values reconsideration, mankind priority problems designation and ways of their extricating search more than with new machines and mechanisms, programs and systems creation. The more quickly humanity realizes its problems and new outlook paradigm shapes, the more harmoniously civilization steps up. On example of post-soviet and leading western countries education systems, their chief problems are analyzed and several propositions in relation to their solution are given.
