Magic mushrooms: mysticism and reality

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the modern state of the research of hallucinogen mushrooms usage of which recently acquired dangerous spreading among the youth. The main attention is paid to ethnomycologic and historical aspects, peculiarities of physiological problems and mental insanity caused by the action of neurotropic mushrooms of Psilocybe i Amanita families.
