"Orange revolution": strategic assessment in the context of European outlook

Abstract

Author of the article reviews the causes and consequences of «orange revolution» of 2004. He proves that it has changed the strategic opinion of the world community about Ukraine and defined the coordinates system for our further motion at the international arena. In consideration of the inconsistency of political declarations, actions, tactics and strategy of the main «orange revolution» figurants that accessed to power in 2004, an author proposes to comprehend the phenomenon of «uncompleted revolutions » and admit that «orange revolution» became the «revolution of questions» answers to which are given for decades. A scientist considers society democratization, formation of national ambition, patriotism awaking, distinct definition of European vector of the state development as positive arsenal of «orange revolution».
