Critical state and means to improve mechanical drive for gas transportation system of Ukraine

Abstract

The article provides analysis of current state of gas transportation system of Ukraine. It is found that operation of physically worn-out and morally obsolete gas turbine drives causes excessive power consumption and gradual degradation of gas transportation system. Means of its updating that, above all, requires substitution of inefficient drives for high tech gas turbine motors of new generation are outlined.
