Abstract

The article consistently proves that health protection in the system of socially oriented economy development is one of the most important types of business activity. Through analysis of the main social health indicators (ability to natural recreation, duration of life and employable period) an author provides thorough analysis of the reasons of modern unsatisfactory state of the sector and specific proposals regarding improvement of people health care level and health promotion of the nation.
