Milestones of historical course

Abstract

The article systematizes a big set of historical data that disclose objective situation of reality and provide logical diachrony of the leading state scientific institution development — National Academy of sciences of Uk raine from conception of its establishment until nowadays. An author distinguishes the main milestones of the institution history, recalls leading scientists and their achievements that made the Academy leading scientific center capable to provide intellectual support of Ukrainian society on its way towards consolidation of the scholarship society.
