Modern economic science: crisis or development?

Abstract

The article presents evaluation of the state of modern economic science by scientists from various scientific centers. Methodological approach to understanding of economic knowledge development is proposed. Taking into account the results of researches performed by such economists as Nobel Prize-winner laureates, an author shows the restrained optimism based on the evaluation of economic conception evelopment during 1970 - 2000. Thus, the mentioned prize is not only the criterion of intellectual achievements (owing to its universality) but also generalizing index of economic science level of development. Accordingly, considerable stock of knowledge contained in innovative works of Nobel Prizewinner laureates is accumulated for 39 years of the Nobel Prize awarding to men of economic science. Study of their intellectual creations (author called them as «economic nobelelogiya») made reliable foundation for exclusively logical analysis performed by an author and allowed him to propose a number of attractive recommendations for joint activity of scientists and higher education employees.
