Selective sorbents for the removal of radionuclides, heavy metals and lithium from aqueous solutions

Abstract

The report presents some important results of fundamental and applied research of the Institute for Sorption and Problems of Endoecology of the NAS of Ukraine on the development of new effective sorbents. The conducted research has great applied potential, as it forms a scientific basis for the creation of domestic technologies for water purification and hazardous waste management, which is especially important for the restoration of territories affected by military actions, as well as for environmental safety and rational use of natural resources of Ukraine.
