National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: results of 2025 and development priorities

Session of the General Meeting of the NAS of Ukraine, April 23, 2026

Abstract

On April 23, 2026, a session of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held, dedicated to the results of the activities of the NAS of Ukraine in 2025 and the key areas of its further work. The participants of the session heard and discussed the report of the President of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine A.G. Zagorodny, which presented the main results of the Academy's fundamental and applied research over the past year. During the event, a solemn ceremony was held to present the V.I. Vernadsky Gold Medal of the NAS of Ukraine, prizes named after outstanding scientists of the NAS of Ukraine, and the NAS of Ukraine Prize "For the Popularization of Science".
