Resilience of public finances and possibilities for its strengthening

Abstract

The report is devoted to the results of research conducted by specialists of the Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on identifying opportunities to strengthen the resilience of Ukraine's public finances in the context of armed aggression by the Russian Federation. It analyzes how effectively the state and local budgets of Ukraine were able to adapt to the war shock in the short and medium term. Possible ways to strengthen the resilience of public finances are outlined. Risks to financial resilience in the future are identified.
