Abstract

The report presents relevant and important results of many years of fundamental research and applied work conducted by the Paton Electric Welding Institute of the NAS of Ukraine in the field of electron beam technologies, in particular additive manufacturing. The prospects for the wide practical application of the developed electron beam technologies for the production and welding of new generation titanium alloys for the needs of aviation industry enterprises, as well as for the defense and medical applications, are discussed.
