Highly efficient synthesis of organic compounds with safe use of diazomethane

Abstract

The report presents scientific results obtained by the staff of the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which indicate significant progress in the development of scientific foundations for the creation of active components of modern and promising medicines, in particular, it concerns the synthesis using such a highly effective, but extremely toxic and explosive reagent as diazomethane. The proposed development of flow reactors of our own creation enables safe work with diazomethane and allows obtaining valuable organic products in a continuous mode and in quantities necessary for industrial production.
