General relativity almost without formulas

Abstract

In this article, the author briefly and clearly explains the complex features of the general theory of relativity, which Albert Einstein formulated in 1916 and which describes gravity not as a force, but as a distortion of the fabric of space-time caused by massive objects, which affects the motion of bodies and light. Today, the general theory of relativity is the most successful theory of gravity, repeatedly confirmed by numerous observations and experimental results.
