Landscape planning tool and experience of its application for environmental preservation in Ukraine and abroad

The article considers the concept of landscape planning as a spatial planning tool that combines environmental, social and economic goals of balanced development of territories. The features of the application of landscape planning in different countries of the world and the development of research by Ukrainian scientists in this area are analyzed. Examples of the implementation of landscape planning principles in comprehensive spatial development plans of territorial communities of Ukraine are given.
