The report examines the issues of war crimes research, in particular, discusses their current state and the main problems that arise in judicial practice in this context. Scientific support for addressing these issues is extremely important and is designed to offer methodological approaches to improving the law enforcement activities of pre-trial investigation bodies, prosecutors' offices, and courts. These studies have become particularly relevant after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine’s territory by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022.
