Abstract

On October 15, 2025, an extraordinary personality, a world-famous scientist in the field of molecular biology and biosensorics, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in science and technology (1986), Honored Science and Technology Figure of Ukraine (1998), holder of the Order of Princess Olga of all classes (2008, 2015, 2021), laureate of the V.I. Vernadsky Gold Medal of the NAS of Ukraine (2015), the O.V. Palladin Prize of the NAS of Ukraine (1979), director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine (2003—2019), Doctor of Biological Sciences (1975), Professor (1986), Academician of the NAS of Ukraine (1992) Anna V. El'skaya celebrates her 85^th birthday.
